My Angel Foundation's Monthly eNewsletter - December 2008
Dear Subscriber,

Welcome to My Angel Foundation's monthly eNewsletter "Doses of Hope".

Each month Doses of Hope will bring you inspiring stories and informative articles about organ and tissue donation and the latest My Angel Foundation's news and happenings.

The introduction of Doses of Hope is an important step in My Angel Foundation’s journey of giving individuals hope for tomorrow through communicating the importance of organ and tissue donation and volunteerism. Please help us spread the word about Doses of Hope by forwarding this email to your friends and family!

My Angel Foundation has some exciting events and programs planned in 2009 to promote organ donation awareness! In the coming year, you will have plenty of opportunities to participate and show your support for organ and tissue donation! Whether through the 5k/10 run and walk, to the dragon boat races, and golf tournament there are multiple opportunities for you to get involved. As the holiday parties and family gatherings are just around the corner, please make sure to spread the news about these exciting events.

How can you help My Angel Foundation? We currently are seeking volunteers to serve on our event and program committees. In addition, your time is running out to make a tax-deductible gift to My Angel Foundation in 2008. Any amount of support would be greatly appreciated!

From our family to yours, Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,

Ted Cochran

Go tell someone...

By Steve Ferkau

This post, "Go tell someone…" is a plea to tell your story. A plea to go tell someone…

Here's Wishing You the Bluest Skies, Anni...

By Steve Ferkau

There is a beautiful, eight-year-old girl in Illinois named Anni. In October, she just received her third liver. This is a little about Anni, but also about the dozens of friends, neighbors, internet friends and strangers who donated blood and planted trees and reached out to Anni and her family.

Her Mom, Moreena, blogs about Anni and about organ donation. Moreena created a beautiful video of Anni through her first 5 years to help support another Mom going through something similar. This post is about wishing Anni, and all the little ones like her, the bluest skies – and hoping we can see videos of her graduation and wedding and so many times in her future, given to her by someone who cared enough to consider organ donation.
